Tram (No. 7)
Number 7 was originally built in 1991 as a platelayers trolley and was fitted with its Tram style body shell at a later date. The locomotive is fitted with a 'Beyer Puck' flat twin petrol engine from an invalid car which drives through an 'Eaton' variable hydraulic transmission. The final drive is through a 'DAF' bevel gearbox to a single axle. In its original form the loco was reputedly capable of 40mph!!!!!
